Wolverine Worldwide is continuing its recruitment spree with the promotion of Pat O'Malley to the position of president of its Saucony brand.

He succeeds Richie Woodworth, who was recently appointed president of the company's Lifestyle Group. With more than 25 years of experience in the footwear industry, O'Malley most recently served as Saucony's senior vice president for global product. Prior to this he held various positions with both Nike and Reebok.

In his new role, O'Malley will report directly to Jim Gabel, president of Wolverine Worldwide's Performance Group.

"A veteran of the industry and of our Saucony brand, Pat O'Malley has continuously proven his ability to build innovative and industry-leading teams," said Blake Krueger, Wolverine Worldwide CEO. "We are excited Pat will be bringing his skills as a strategic partner and determined leader to the leadership role for the Saucony brand."

In November, Wolverine appointed Fossil executive Tom Kennedy as president of apparel and accessories – one of the company's key strategic growth areas. In the same month, Richie Woodworth was promoted to president of the company's Lifestyle Group.
