Leading marketer of branded casual, active and work footwear and slippers, Wolverine World Wide Inc, today reported record sales and earnings for 2001 with fourth quarter earnings meeting consensus estimates.

The company's, whose brands includes Bates, Hush Puppies, Merrell and Wolverine, posted full year net sales and other operating income for 2001 of $720.1 million, a 2.7 per cent increase over the $701.3m reported in 2000.
