Surfwear company Billabong has chosen NGC (New Generation Computing) to provide software solutions for its PLM and global sourcing activities.

The company selected NGC’s e-PLM product lifecycle management solution, plus its e-SPS platform for global sourcing and visibility, for all its brands and global activities.

“We chose NGC based on the functionality and ease of use of their solutions, as well as NGC’s deep understanding of the fashion and apparel industries,” said Mike Savage, general manager of product development, Billabong International.

NGC president Alan Brooks said the company was “honoured” to work with Billabong, which he described as “an exciting, dynamic company and one of the hottest brands in action-sports apparel”.
