Canadian outdoor lifestyle apparel company Tentree has invested in a cloud-based PLM solution to help support its rapid domestic and international growth.

The company, which offers activewear for men and women, including pullovers, hoodies, yoga pants, T-shirts, tank tops and hats, aims to become the world's most environmentally progressive brand. It has a policy to plant ten trees for every item purchased, and has planted more than 8m trees in the four years since it started.

Tentree's sourcing, design and development teams will use the Centric Small Business software to speed up product development process and shorten lead times to better serve customers as it expands its product categories.

"With our company growing so quickly, we need support to manage complexity and to streamline our design and development process," explained Tentree CEO Derrick Emsley.

"Our product lines and our teams are growing so rapidly that we need an automated approach to be more efficient and to better collaborate across our internal, satellite and overseas offices."

Tentree is Centric's first customer in Canada to adopt the Centric Small Business solution.
