Luxury brand Etienne Aigner is implementing a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool to help streamline workflows across the company and boost its end-to-end supply chain visibility.

The 57-year-old women's lifestyle firm has enlisted the BlueCherry ERP platform from CGS to enhance its business processes to give a better, more holistic view into its supply chain – from concept to consumer, as well as deliver real-time data and analytics.

The application, which will be hosted in the CGS Managed Cloud, will improve communications across Etienne Aigner's sales, production, logistics and distribution teams, while also improving visibility of mission-critical data. 

"With a growing retail and eCommerce business, we needed a solution that would simplify our business processes – from production to sales – and increase visibility into our supply chain," said Sonia Park, vice president of production and sourcing, Etienne Aigner.

The BlueCherry Suite offers a single database of information from concept to consumer and includes Enterprise Resourcing Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Advanced Warehouse Management, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Business Intelligence and B2B eCommerce for salesforce and wholesale automation.

The news comes shortly after CGS said it has enhanced its BlueCherry Shop Floor Control solutions with a new wireless operator app and an actionable intelligence (AI) performance reporting tool to address the growing need for mobile access in sewn products manufacturing.
