Infor, one of the largest global providers of enterprise software, will present an educational session at the Apparel Tech Conference, hosted by The Fashion Institute of Technology, being held November 7 - 9, 2006 in New York City. The presentation will highlight customers who are utilizing Infor Apparel Solutions to increase their responsiveness to changes in design, development and distribution.

Cindy Bahr, Infor solution consultant and David Graham, Infor Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) account manager, will present "How Tightly Managed PLM Can Yield Maximum Return - From Collection Planning to Product Delivery" on Thursday, November 9, 2006 from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m.

"Infor's apparel solutions are in daily use at many customer sites, enabling them to automate operational processes through the entire product lifecycle - from collection planning and design, through development, manufacturing and distribution," said Rory Granros, industry and product marketing manager, Infor Process Industries. "By providing up-to-date information regarding sales and product availabilities, and reducing errors in the end-to-end process through improved data accuracy, these solutions help our customers increase end user satisfaction scores."

Infor's presentation will reference customer case studies to illustrate how technology is enabling apparel manufacturers to remain competitive in a rapidly changing marketplace.

"In an industry in which fashion trends change faster than ever, and where globalization and outsourcing are crucial key factors for success and survival, the need to shorten time to market, is growing on a daily basis," added Granros. "Our presentation will highlight how Infor's apparel solutions facilitate collaboration, from design through shipping, and spotlight customers who have successfully improved their go-to-market timing."
