Dutch fashion company Scotch & Soda has selected Centric Software to provide its product lifecycle management (PLM) software to help support its growth and geographical expansion.

The Amsterdam-based fashion brand will implement the Centric 8 PLM solution throughout its women's wear, men's wear and children's wear product groups, with users including the styling, product development and sourcing teams. The company also will extend the software to its agents and suppliers in Asia.

Scotch & Soda will use the PLM tool to help expand the product range, streamline the product development process, increase productivity, and improve collaboration within and between internal and external teams, according to Duco Habbema, head of sourcing. It is also expected to improve collaboration with agents and suppliers.

Scotch & Soda's brands include Maison Scotch, Scotch Shrunk, Scotch R'Belle, and Amsterdams Blauw. The company owns and operates more than 100 stores or store-in-store operations, with its apparel stocked in more than 7,000 stores across Europe, Oceania, Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
