German women's wear retailer Orsay has implemented the TXT AgileFit solution to support retail planning across all of its channels, geographies and brands.

Having used TXT PLM since 2006, Orsay has broadened its use of the firm's retail technology to now include all aspects of end-to-end planning, for pre-season, in-season and same-store format management.

The new solution is expected to provide Orsay with advanced rapid deployments, reducing the time to accrue benefits. The company said it also expects to gain tighter control over the collection lifecycle such as comparing initial line plans and targets with products confirmed and actual sales, and feeding this information back into innovation.

"We were looking for a planning solution that could provide end-to-end coverage of the process together with low customisation and high speed of roll-out, but still maintaining the flexibility that is a key aspect in the fast fashion sector where you need to be extremely rapid in evolving your processes and systems," said Yvonne Leguil, chief product officer at Orsay.
