Scandinavian fashion brand Moods of Norway has implemented Gerber Technology's YuniquePLM V6 web-based software to increase efficiency and productivity across the business.

The company, which owns 18 stores in Norway, the US and Sweden, said the platform will help it to manage its design and development process. YuniquePLM V6 is expected to increase Moods of Norway's efficiency, productivity and speed to market from improved collaboration and greater access to data in a single location.

"With YuniquePLM V6, we are able to have an individual perspective on products from the 'get go,' allowing designers and buyers to monitor and focus on the progress of various products without the use of multiple systems, data files and complexity," said Thomas Frodal, head of product at Moods of Norway.

The move comes three months after Moods of Norway revealed it will track its apparel from source to store using radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags.
