European fashion retailer Grupo Cortefiel is deploying the product lifecycle management (PLM) solution from Centric Software across all of its brands and product categories.

The Madrid-based company operates the Springfield, Cortefiel, Women'secret and Pedro el Hierro brands, which cover women's wear, men's wear, accessories, lingerie and footwear.

Cortefiel will deploy the Centric 8 PLM suite to users in its costing, design, product development and product management departments.

The implementation will "support Grupo Cortefiel's multi-brand growth strategy and position as one of the strongest leaders in the European fashion market," says Enrique Martin Mendez, CIO of the company.

The retailer operates in 65 countries with 1,900 points of sale across directly operated stores and franchises, and more than 8,000 employees.
