Product lifecycle management (PLM) software provider Centric Software is expanding its operations on both coasts of North America, and has named a new EVP of sales, as part of a move to increase its presence in the apparel, footwear and private label industries.

David Guercio has joined the company as executive vice president of sales and client services, tasked with leading Centric's worldwide growth efforts.

The company is also relocating its offices in Campbell, California from 1 July, and has taken new office space in New York to expand its presence in the US fashion industry.

“Our single-minded focus is to execute on our plan to lead the PLM market for fast moving consumer goods industries,” said Chris Groves, president and CEO of Centric Software.

“We continue to move forward with that plan, by securing new funding to fuel our growth, hiring critical staff at every level throughout the organisation, and forming significant partnerships to help us scale our business and meet our growth objectives.”
