The latest release of the YuniquePLM product lifecycle management software features enhanced line planning functionality for designers and merchandisers and new costing capabilities for planning and financial teams.

"We're constantly incorporating feedback from our customer advisory board into our software releases," explains Darioush Nikpour, vice president of product management for Gerber's Yunique Solutions business.

He adds that the tool's new line management capability helps retailers and brands to improve speed and accuracy in the product development process and to visualise if products within the line will meet profitability expectations early in the planning process.

YuniquePLM v5.0 lets users visually sort styles using "drag and drop" techniques, they can create and edit data and statuses for multiple styles simultaneously, and apply historical data to quickly calculate product costs. It is also possible to track financials from product development through supplier commitments.
