ABOUT

47 KEY SHIRTS/BLOUSES APPAREL SOURCING STATISTICS, ALL IN ONE INFOGRAPHIC

By Andrew Leighton | 26 March 2019

According to the saying, the clothes make the man - or indeed, the woman. And if that’s true then the humble shirt/blouse provides the largest canvas on which consumers can illustrate to the world exactly what kind or man or woman they truly are.

All of which makes it even more surprising that the biggest falling garment category in world trade between 2012-16 was shirts/blouses, plummeting by -17% across the period.

That’s why we decided to create an infographic that pulls together a small snapshot of the trade agreement and tariff data available within re:source for this under-fire category. It also contains data on the global exporters of shirts/blouses into EU, US, Canada and Japan and even the HS codes related to this garment category. Enjoy.
