Blog: Goodbye from your news editor

Katie Smith | 22 April 2016

Having contributed to just-style for five years, serving as news editor for the last two, it has been a pleasure to observe and report on the global textile and apparel industry.

Responding to worker needs and the use of new technologies to improve product performance are becoming increasingly important, while it seems UK apparel onshoring is finally gaining momentum

However, a change in direction means today is my last day as I move to the unfamiliar world of confectionery production.

There have been many highlights, and I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting the global just-style community at the many gatherings and events I've attended.

In the meantime, I leave you in the dependable hands of Leonie and Michelle, and hope the next news editor of just-style enjoys their tenure as much as I have.
