Eurofins AQM has been approved as a verifier body for the Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP), joining over 200 signatories in working towards improving working conditions through converged assessment and collaborative action.
The SLCP is a multi-stakeholder initiative which aims to reduce audit fatigue and improve working conditions. Over the years, SLCP has grown from 33 registered parties to over 200 signatories, comprising brands/ retailers, manufacturers/ suppliers, agents, audit firms/ services providers and other stakeholders.
It has developed the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF), which collects compliance and performance information from production facilities, and employs a robust verification process to facilitate the adoption of the framework through data hosting and sharing on the SLCP Gateway and between SLCP Accredited Hosts. SLCP signatories have committed to replacing their proprietary social audit tools with the CAF in order to reduce audit fatigue and free up resources that can be redirected to improving working conditions.
Eurofins AQM is a services provider in product inspection, factory auditing and training in environmental/ CSR/ chemical management.
Its approval covers seven key manufacturing countries: Bangladesh, China, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Vietnam.
