USA: Talks Planned At Cap Firm Hit By Strike
Representatives of baseball cap manufacturer New Era Cap Co will meet with union leaders later this week in a bid to end strike action that has affected the company's plant in Derby, New York, for the past six months.
Company and union negotiators from the Communications Workers of America (CWA) are due to meet for talks on Friday as they bid to reach a breakthrough in the dispute over production quotas that has seen 215 union members remain on strike.
