Sporting goods company Adidas has unveiled a range of new NBA basketball uniforms, claimed to be the lightest and technologically advanced ever seen.
The NBA Revolution 30 outfits, launched at the NBA store in New York, claim to be 30% lighter and to dry twice as fast as previous NBA uniforms, also incorporating Adidas’ Formotion technology.
All 30 NBA teams will wear the new uniforms, which took four years to develop, beginning from this season.
“The new NBA Revolution 30 uniforms incorporate the best in design and technology to create the most advanced basketball uniform system,” said Lawrence Norman, Adidas vice president of global basketball.
“As the Official Outfitter of the NBA, we work closely with the league to constantly innovate and improve products to help the best basketball players in the world become one step quicker and jump one inch higher.”
Adidas has also launched a limited edition line of NBA Revolution 30 jerseys, available for 33 different players, with a suggested retail price of US$350.
