Phoenix Footwear Group Inc has named James R Riedman as its new chief executive officer and president following the resignation of Russell Hall on 10 September.

Riedman has been on the footwear firm’s board of directors since 1993 and has been chairman since 1996. He also served as CEO from 1996 to 2004 and was interim CEO from May 2006 to April 2007.

The company, which makes the Trotters, SoftWalk, and HS Trask brands, also said Kevin Wulff has joined the management team as a director. He recently became the chief operating officer for ASICS America Corporation after years of experience with companies such as Adidas and Nike.
