Richemont-owned fashion house Chloé has appointed former Liberty chief executive Geoffroy de La Bourdonnaye as its new CEO.

De La Bourdonnaye, who left his Liberty role with the company’s sale in June this year but who continues as a non-executive director there, succeeds Ralph Toledano, a Chloé veteran of 11 years.

De La Bourdonnaye, who takes over as CEO on 1 September, reports to Marty Wikstrom, CEO of Richemont Fashion and Accessories.

“Geoffroy brings to Chloé a depth of operational experience from sales, marketing and general management across relevant industries from fashion and retail to consumer goods and entertainment amongst top global brands,” said Wikstrom.

“He is a seasoned leader with a proven track record of delivering performance and growth in highly creative environments.”
