With apparel industry trade shows, conferences, seminars and summits around the world cancelled, postponed or replaced by virtual events because of travel restrictions and social distancing measures imposed to try to halt the spread of the coronavirus, just-style is updating the changes as they happen.
Among the latest announcements, the physical Première Vision fabric fair, which had been due to take place in Paris in September, has been replaced by a digital show.
The organisers of the PI Apparel (Product Innovation Apparel) shows have also moved all of this year’s events online. The decision covers the PI Apparel Hong Kong, Europe and New York events which will take place on 15-16 September, 19-20 October, and 9-11 November respectively. It also applies to the Supply Chain Forum events with the New York edition to be held on 2-3 October and the Europe show to run a month later on 2-3 November.
Meanwhile, the co-located International Sourcing Expo Australia and Footwear and Leather Show Australia events have been postponed to 2021. The shows will now take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 23-25 November.
The situation is changing rapidly, so it is essential to check with organisers before making plans to exhibit or attend.
