Sourcing in Vietnam: treasure trove or minefield?
Hot on the heels of the new agreement being negotiated to restrict apparel exports from Vietnam to the United States, we look at both sides of the trade argument. For some, Vietnam is viewed as a valuable source of low cost, good quality finished goods, while for others it is a threat to US domestic textile businesses. Either way, argues Padma Nagappan, Vietnam will continue to evolve as a growing supply base with lots of potential.
