USA: Trade Commission To Assess Extra Duty, Quota Free Action
The US International Trade Commission (ITC) on Thursday announced it was calling for industry input into the likely economic outcome of granting additional duty- and quota-free treatment to apparel imports from certain Sub-Saharan African, Caribbean, and Andean countries The new investigation has been requested by the US Trade Representative (USTR) and the individual product-specific reviews will focus on items from AGOA, CBTPA, and ATPDEA qualifying countries.
