VIETNAM: Clothing Exports Hit $3.15bn In Jan-Oct
Textile and clothing chiefs in Vietnam were celebrating on Tuesday after surging exports in the first 10 months of this year hit $3.15 billion - the target set for the whole of 2003. Figures released by the Ministry of Trade showed shipments to the US generated half of that total, although it added the latest figure was inflated by a 10 to 20 per cent hike in prices.
