Developed by We Are Social Singapore, AI-powered Luna functions as a virtual stylist, capable of recommending clothing items that complement what the customer is currently wearing or assisting in assembling a complete outfit based on individual tastes.
Luna enables customers to engage in dialogue either through an interactive kiosk within the store or remotely via Telegram. The system offers tailored style guidance and product suggestions by analysing real-time data from customer interactions.
This initiative is part of a month-long event marking the opening of Skechers’ latest outlet situated in the Punggol Digital District, a hub where technology is said to be increasingly integrated into consumer experiences.
Skechers Singapore senior general manager Irene Lee said: “As a comfort technology brand, harnessing new and innovative solutions to connect with our customers is part of our DNA. With the opening of our new store in Punggol Digital District, it enhances customers’ retail journey with a unique, social, and interactive experience with Luna.”
We Are Social Singapore designed Luna to facilitate speech-to-speech interactions between the AI agent and customers, streamlining both online and in-store shopping processes.
This approach aims to elevate levels of convenience and customisation throughout the customer journey.

By GlobalDataAccording to We Are Social Singapore, Luna shows how future retail environments might leverage AI to provide recommendations based on a customer’s unique fashion preferences, contributing to a cohesive omnichannel shopping experience.
We Are Social Singapore innovation director Manolis Perrakis said: “The emergence of AI speech-to-speech technologies is powering an agentic AI revolution that forms the backbone of future consumer-facing systems. Luna is an additional touchpoint for Skechers to complement its innovative retail experience, uniting retail and online environments into a seamless ecosystem. This integration empowers brands to strengthen customer relationships and drive dynamic, two-way conversations that connect the shop floor and customers’ phones.”
The introduction of Luna at Skechers’ Punggol Coast Mall store is a temporary activation.
In February last year, Skechers opened a high-tech warehouse in Japan with automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) company Hai Robotics that aims to maximise operational efficiency, fulfilment speed and order accuracy.
