1% for the Planet is a global network that brings together businesses and environmental organisations to collectively support environmental causes. Its members pledge a minimum of 1% of their annual sales to initiatives aimed at preserving the environment.
Established in 2003, the EOG represents the European outdoor industry and has approximately 150 members. The organisation spearheads activities on behalf of the industry in various domains including CSR, sustainability, market research, conservation, encouraging participation, and public affairs.
Through this partnership, 1% for the Planet has been granted associate member status within the EOG, while the EOG has become an environmental partner with 1%.
Members of 1% for the planet can now direct their contributions toward the CSR and sustainability efforts led by the EOG.
This fund may be allocated to projects focused on decarbonisation, responsible consumption and production, environmental education, as well as the association’s Impact Accelerator Fund, the companies jointly stated.

Both groups are involved in global sustainability projects and aim to highlight through their partnership that protecting the planet requires worldwide collaboration and action.
