It leverages the natural properties of mint-derived botanicals and is accessible globally as both virgin and REPREVE recycled polyester yarns.
The REPREVE options are fully traceable through FiberPrint technology and hold certifications from U-TRUST, GRS, and SCS for their recycled content.

Additionally, the company also launched two products REPREVE Takeback and ThermaLoop insulation, made 100% from textile waste excluding colorants, additives, and low-melt polymers.
REPREVE Takeback now encompasses white-dyeable high-performance filament, staple fibre, and solution-dyed colours made solely from textile waste.
Similarly, ThermaLoop insulation has evolved from being 50% recycled to now being crafted entirely from textile waste materials, available in various forms such as down-like fibre and fibreball.
These offerings are part of Unifi’s commitment to enhancing its circular product line and achieve its goal to recycle the equivalent of 1.5 billion T-shirts’ worth of textile waste by fiscal year 2030.
Unifi is set to showcase its innovative A.M.Y. Peppermint yarn alongside its circular REPREVE Takeback and ThermaLoop insulation products at upcoming industry events including the Northwest Materials Show in Portland, Oregon, as well as Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics in China.
In April, Unifi launched an updated version of its recycled polyester and nylon fibre, improved with CiCLO technology to offer biodegradable properties.
