Customers can buy like-new children’s items and sell back outgrown clothing directly to Zalando in exchange for gift vouchers valid across the platform, including for pre-owned products.
The range covers brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Tommy Hilfiger, alongside NEXT and Name It. Specialist and premium labels like LEGO Kidswear, Bisgaard, Boss Kidswear, Stella McCartney Kids, and Moschino are also featured.
According to Zalando, the process does not require customers to provide photos or pay postage fees, with the company managing shipping and free returns while its in-house team inspects all items to ensure they meet specific quality criteria.
This move comes as demand for second-hand apparel increases across Europe. Data from the retailer indicates that sales of its adult pre-owned fashion have doubled in recent years.
