The changes come as the sector faces growing challenges in supply chains, regulation and responsible sourcing.
New members of the trade show include Kirsty McGregor, a journalist and former editor at Vogue Business, Vivobarefoot’s circularity head Rosie Cripps, Ellen MacArthur Foundation fashion project manager Miranda Beckett, and Buffalo Systems’ CEO James Sleater.

The advisory board now combines these new members with established figures from retail, sourcing and policy.
Returning advisors include Oliver Bruckner from JOSEPH, Hayley Shore of PepsiCo, Simon Platts, former Sourcing Director at Asos, Lauretta Roberts from TheIndustry.fashion, Nick Reed of Neem London, Mark Sumner from WRAP, Nicola Kirby of Bhartiya Group, and Helena Mansell-Stopher of Products of Change.
The advisory board will guide Source Fashion’s approach to industry programming and wider engagement strategies.
Source Fashion event director Suzanne Ellingham said: “As Source Fashion continues to grow, it’s essential that we are guided by the right mix of industry voices. Our Advisory Board brings together leaders who are not only shaping the future of fashion but are deeply engaged in the practical challenges facing sourcing, manufacturing and supply chains today.
“In order for our programme and event to remain industry leading, these voices are vital as businesses reflect on the tsunami of challenges ahead, from commercial challenges, new regulatory frameworks and unprecedented levels of volatility that is now just business as usual. Their insight ensures that everything we deliver, from the show floor to our content programme, remains relevant, commercially focused and aligned with where the industry is heading.”
British Pavilion expands
In addition to the board changes, Source Fashion will expand its British Pavilion at the July 2026 edition. UK manufacturers are now expected to represent the second-largest national presence at the show, after China.
The event, scheduled at ExCeL London from 7–9 July, plans to feature up to 45 UK manufacturers and businesses, reflecting feedback from visitors and increasing demand for local sourcing.
The British Pavilion will feature a wide range of UK production capabilities, including knitwear, garment finishing and full-service manufacturing partners. Exhibitors will demonstrate responsible manufacturing processes as well as models focused on lower-impact production.
Among others, new additions to the British Pavilion include Knitster, which specialises in design-focused knitwear, LaundRE, a low-impact garment finishing provider and LLUK, a full-service UK manufacturing partner.
Also joining are KC Manufacturing, the first Scottish exhibitor at Source Fashion and The T-shirt Factory, which remanufactures deadstock garments.
The inclusion of these companies signals an ongoing shift in the supply chain landscape, as brands seek to streamline logistics, shorten lead times, and increase transparency by working with UK-based partners.
The British Pavilion brings together a network of domestic suppliers, offering buyers more accessible and diverse sourcing opportunities.
“By bringing as many British manufacturers as we can under one roof, we are able to showcase the best of our manufacturing in the same way other countries and export agencies do, creating a platform for British Fashion and Textile Manufacturing and letting them be seen,” Ellingham added.
The news follows shortly after Source Fashion announced plans to move to London Excel as it looks to scale internationally.
