The distributor, which operates across North America, has updated its digital platform to include filters that allow users to search for apparel and accessories by sustainability certifications and material attributes.

S&S Activewear stated that the enhancements aim to improve the transparency and accessibility of sustainability information during the purchasing process.

Customers can now use the updated system to locate products certified by organisations such as OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, bluesign, and the Fair Labor Association.

In addition, the platform enables searches for items made from materials including organic cotton, recycled cotton, recycled polyester, Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) cotton, and US cotton.

S&S Activewear chief legal officer Alaina Brooks said: “We heard from customers a desire for transparency and easy access to information about mill certifications and product materials. These enhancements reflect our focus on the customer experience by providing the tools, transparency, and clarity customers need to shop with confidence.”

Alongside the improved search functions, S&S Activewear has introduced a redesigned framework for categorising responsible products.

The company said this structure allows for greater clarity regarding the standards that products meet and is intended to help customers make more informed decisions.

These changes are integrated directly into the company’s digital experience, allowing users to move efficiently from product exploration to purchase while having visibility into the environmental attributes of their selections.

According to the distributor, wider sustainability initiatives remain a company priority. The firm runs a renewable energy infrastructure, claimed to be one of the largest privately operated solar networks in the sector.

S&S Activewear has also announced plans to release its 2025 Sustainability Report in the fourth quarter of 2026.
