The event hosted 738 exhibitors over 53,000m2 across 11 exhibition segments and welcomed buyers from 17 countries including France, Italy, Turkey and Brazil.

CHIC Autumn 2026 featured exhibitors from Italy, the UAE, Korea, Japan and India, reflecting its international dimension. The Italian pavilion included 14 companies, primarily womenswear brands, indicating continued interest in European labels among Chinese buyers.
Verdani, head of the Italian delegation, noted the “strong appeal” of Italian apparel and accessories in China and confirmed plans to increase the country’s presence at CHIC Spring 2027.
GUAPI, a streetwear brand from the UAE, experienced its first CHIC attendance this autumn. CEO Bryan described the event as “highly positive” for the brand and confirmed return plans for the March 2027 edition.
Business matchmaking featured prominently, with four events aimed at linking brands with suppliers and buyers. Approximately 70% of the buyers engaged in the overseas apparel matchmaking sessions were first-time attendees, with many arriving on site with specific procurement needs, creating opportunities for targeted deals.
Reflecting broader industry shifts, CHIC Autumn incorporated sessions addressing topics such as artificial intelligence in design, digital transformation, and evolving e-commerce models.
German online retailer ABOUT YOU offered insights into the challenges of expanding European e-commerce platforms, highlighting cross-border complexities and opportunities for Chinese and international brands alike.
A notable addition was the introduction of a dedicated “Chinese Style” area, showcasing contemporary adaptations of Chinese aesthetics and craftsmanship.
The segment aims to reflect growing market confidence in domestic brands and products rooted in traditional techniques, catering to both local consumers and a global audience.
Exhibitors such as SAINT JOY, SIGO, MAY D.WANG and ZIVGREY represented a diverse range from heritage manufacturers to internationally oriented labels.
Feedback from international buyers indicated a shift in perceptions of the Chinese fashion sector, with increasing recognition given to quality, innovation and design capabilities, rather than just manufacturing scale.
CHIC’s next edition is scheduled for 10 to 12 March 2027 in Shanghai under the theme “THE WAY”.
The upcoming event will focus on the intersection of cultural depth, technological advancement and sustainability, in line with ongoing changes in the global fashion industry.
