The collaboration centres on integrating Inspectorio’s supply chain data platform with EON’s enterprise Digital ID technology to automate and simplify DPP creation and management.
The new alliance directly links Inspectorio’s system, which aggregates product, material, and supplier data, with the EON Product Cloud, a platform responsible for the creation and management of serialised Digital IDs for individual products.

According to the companies, this integration reduces the need for brands to manually handle and transfer information across different software systems, instead ensuring necessary supply chain data flows automatically into EON for DPP deployment.
Inspectorio chief product and technology officer Kamal Anand said: “Digital Product Passports are fundamentally a data challenge. Brands need the ability to collect, validate, and connect information across products, materials, suppliers, facilities, and multiple tiers of their supply chain. By connecting Inspectorio and EON, we are bringing together the supply chain data infrastructure and Digital ID technology brands need to move from DPP pilots to scalable, operational programs.”
The DPP is a digital framework designed to capture and share standardised information about a product’s composition, origin, safety, environmental impact, and lifecycle, with the aim of enhancing sustainability, transparency, and compliance.
This accessibility is anticipated to benefit a wide range of stakeholders, including brands, regulators, consumers, repairers, recyclers, and partners focused on the circular economy.
Among the priority sectors, textile apparel has been highlighted in the Ecodesign Regulation (ESPR) Working Plan 2025–2030 for the introduction of mandatory ecodesign requirements and a DPP.
The EU is set to formally adopt the sector-specific ESPR Delegated Acts for Textiles in the fourth quarters of 2027.
Inspectorio and EON will support brands in moving from manually managed DPP pilot projects to integrated programmes that can accommodate millions of products and complex global supply chains.
EON founder and CEO Natasha Franck said: “The Digital Product Passport represents a new infrastructure layer connecting physical products to trusted digital information throughout their lifecycle.
“For brands to implement DPPs at scale, the Digital ID must be connected to high-quality data from across the supply chain. Our partnership with Inspectorio makes that connection seamless, combining Inspectorio’s deep supply chain data capabilities with EON’s enterprise Digital ID infrastructure so brands can activate compliant, connected, circular products at scale.”
