The company announced the rollout of its SAP S/4HANA-based SPHERE platform as the centrepiece of this initiative.
According to ShinWon, the SPHERE system consolidates key operational data and business workflows, replacing multiple spreadsheets, emails, and siloed applications.

Combine business intelligence and editorial excellence to reach engaged professionals across 36 leading media platforms.
The platform integrates several core systems, including Product Lifecycle Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Manufacturing Execution System, e-Accounting, and SAP Analytics Cloud, bringing together functions spanning order management, product development, costing, procurement, production, logistics, shipment, and financial settlement.
This consolidation is designed to ensure greater consistency and data accessibility, particularly at the product level.
The company stated that the unified system enables more systematic management of individual styles’ bills of materials and production processes. By integrating operations and data standards across its headquarters and overseas manufacturing sites, ShinWon aims to standardise global processes.
A key feature of SPHERE is its integration of manufacturing execution and ERP capabilities, which ShinWon says improves the management of production status and cost information, while enabling faster identification and resolution of production issues.
The deployment of the platform also enhances the company’s business intelligence capabilities. Through SAP Analytics Cloud, ShinWon has established an operating model for analysing orders, production, and cost data across different subsidiaries, clients, and product lines.
The company expects the system to enable more comprehensive, data-driven profitability analysis by product and buyer.
ShinWon’s move forms part of a broader AI transformation effort. Previous initiatives include setting up a dedicated AI organisation and deploying ChatGPT Enterprise. The company said it is expanding AI applications in areas such as task automation and data analytics, with the new ERP system providing a standardised data foundation for integrating future AI technologies.
Looking ahead, ShinWon is pursuing a phased plan to embed AI across business functions. This includes the in-house development of an AI-powered demand forecasting system using sales data from major retailers.
Plans under consideration include incorporating diverse variables, such as weather data, regional factors, and promotional periods, to enhance forecast accuracy.
The company is also evaluating the use of AI to automate tasks such as export declaration preparation and verification, leveraging its standardised ERP data.
ShinWon CEO JJ Park said: “Through SPHERE, we have established a unified framework that connects our business operations and data, laying the foundation for AI integration. We will continue to expand AI applications across our operations to enhance global supply chain visibility, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen our manufacturing competitiveness through data-driven innovation.”
