JAPAN: Trade With China Hits Record Levels
Japan's trade with China in the first six months of the year rose 12.7 per cent, hitting record levels. Exports from Japan increased by 15.3 per cent to $US 15.53 billion and imports rose 11.3 per cent to $US28.11 billion. Imports of machinery and equipment rose 29.3 per cent, making it the biggest import from China.
