USA: Quiksilver To Open Another 30 Stores
Sportswear maker Quiksilver Inc said it plans to open as many as 30 stores in 2001 as it boosts its capital expenditures, the Los Angeles Times reported. The California-based company estimated its capital expenditures at $18m to $22m, an increase from $16.4m last year, when Quiksilver focused expansion on stores and in-store shops, and adding computer equipment.
