USA: Industry Leaders Chosen For Textile Hall Of Fame
Four textile and clothing industry leaders were on Monday named to the American Textile Hall of Fame at the American Textile History Museum in Massachusetts. The program, now in its second year, honours dedication and commitment to the nation's textile industry, with the latest inductees named as: EI DuPont de Nemours and company; Frederick Dent, former chairman of Mayfair Mills; James Spencer Love (1896-1962) pioneer in weaving synthetic fibres and founder of Burlington Industries; and Whitin Machine Works.
