RUSSIA: Gloria Jeans Targets Retail Expansion
Russian jeans manufacturer Gloria Jeans on Tuesday unveiled an ambitious expansion blueprint that aims to see it operating a country-wide network of 3,000 stores by 2007. The company recorded a turnover of $65 million in 2001 as it expanded its successful Jay Jeans retail chain from its base in Rostov-on-Don but is now looking to build on that success.
