The UK women's clothing market, worth £14bn, is set to get more cut-throat as retailers and all in the supply chain do battle with changing demographics and decreasing consumer spend, says Mintel. The latest research from Mintel shows the average British woman spending over £550 per year on clothing. Despite the sheer size of the £14bn clothing market, clothing continues to account for a decreasing share of consumer spend.
