More than 20 countries from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas will be represented at next week’s IAF World Fashion Convention with the event now fully booked.

Executives from Puma, Hugo Boss, VF Corp, McKinsey, C&A Foundation and Vivienne Westwood are set to address the theme ‘Building a Smart Future for Fashion’ at the event, which is the 34th organised by the International Apparel Federation (IAF). The two-day conference programme includes keynote speeches and panel sessions featuring speakers from all over the world.

Industry associations, brands, retailers, manufacturers, designers and suppliers to the sector will all be present at the convention.

“We have made an effort to open up the Convention also to people or companies that are crucial to the future of our industry, such as start-ups as brought in by Fashion for Good, local designers brought in by Fashionclash from Maastricht and fashion students brought in by several fashion schools and universities from the Netherlands,” the IAF says.

The 34th IAF World Fashion Convention will be held on 9-10 October at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Maastricht in the Netherlands, addressing the theme ‘Building a Smart Future for Fashion.’
