ComWest Enterprise Corp is to buy a 90% stake in military clothing maker Peerless Garments for CAD22.28m (US$21.2m).

Winnipeg-based Peerless is a manufacturer of harsh weather outerwear for military personnel. ComWest is buying the stake from Newport Partners Income Fund. The transaction is expected to close today (20 August).
