CreateMe said these advancements drive a “scalable, high-precision platform” that supersedes conventional sewing methods to enhance product longevity and compress production cycles. They also facilitate eco-friendly, on-demand manufacturing in the US.
MeRA is a software-driven robotic system that constructs garments from start to finish, with production speeds claimed to be 20 times faster and double the precision of manual sewing.
Capable of producing up to 250 garments per hour in a reduced space, MeRA is said to offer a competitive alternative to offshore manufacturing. It can also handle a diverse range of clothing categories.
This platform allows brands to adopt on-demand manufacturing, thereby reducing excess inventory, shortening supply chains, and responding swiftly to consumer demands.

By GlobalDataCreateMe’s new Pixel technology leverages microadhesives for seam bonding that are less than 1mm wide. This method improves garment stretch and durability while ensuring easy recyclability by cleanly separating materials, the apparel technology company explained.
Pixel’s adhesive formulation is said to deliver multiple performance advantages, such as moisture-wicking, thermal control, and lightweight layering.
According to CreateMe, the microadhesive application also offers “smoother finishes, stronger construction, and a longer garment lifespan”.
CreateMe CEO Cam Myers said: “We’re not just improving speed or cost, we’re building an entirely new standard for the garment industry. Bonded apparel is the new paradigm for the fashion industry, and CreateMe’s innovations are leading the charge in the next generation of clothing: local, sustainable, on-demand, and made for today’s world.”
CreateMe’s platform powered by MeRA and Pixel is claimed to facilitate local, small-scale production without incurring additional costs and reducing lead times by as much as 70%. This innovation could decrease the time it takes to bring products to market from several months to just a few days.
Women’s intimates will be the first category to utilise MeRA technology. The company said that it is broadening its portfolio of commercial-grade products to include everyday apparel.
“Together, MeRA and Pixel represent a scalable, modular architecture purpose-built for the complexity of apparel manufacturing. This is not automation for automation’s sake — it’s automation built for how clothes should be made: customised, precise, and close to the consumer,” CreateMe research and development (R&D) vice president Nick Chope stated.
