Elevate has pledged to cut its absolute scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions by 46.2% from a 2019 baseline by 2030.
It also aims to reduce scope 3 GHG emissions related to fuel and energy activities, purchased goods and services, as well as the processing of sold products by 46.2% within the same period.
The company presented its GHG emission reduction goals to the SBTi, which then evaluated Elevate’s near-term and net-zero ambitions against their Net-Zero Standard Criteria and Near-Term Target Criteria and Recommendations.
Following this assessment, SBTi acknowledged Elevate’s net-zero goal as the highest level of ambition currently recognized by the initiative.
