By GlobalDataSpinnova fibre is derived from wood pulp or waste streams such as leather, textiles or agricultural residues, without the need for harmful dissolving chemicals.
It is compatible with conventional textile manufacturing processes and can be blended with other fibres to create yarns and fabrics.
The material is used in products ranging from clothing to insulation and composites, with Spinnova having already launched items such as T-shirts, trousers, jackets and skis in collaboration with global brands.
