FRANCE: Christian Dior Reports Solid 2002 Sales
Leading French fashion house Christian Dior Couture on Thursday reported solid results for 2002 thanks to the success of the collections of John Galliano and Hedi Slimane man wear for Dior Homme. The company said its operating profit climbed to $36.2 million, without providing year-ago figures, and said its revenue soared 41 per cent year-on-year to $539m on the back of excellent seasonal sales.
