FRANCE: Textiles Firm Gout-Roquecourbe To Axe 95 Workers
French textiles firm Gout-Roquecourbe, which specialises in pullovers, has announced it is to axe almost half of its 200-strong workforce due to financial difficulties. Up to 95 workers are set to lose their jobs at the troubled clothing company, which has a subsidiary in Romania and three years ago acquired French textiles plant Tricotage Castrais and kept its 40 employees.
