GERMANY: Hugo Boss Sees Flat Sales, Profit Growth
German fashion house Hugo Boss on Thursday reaffirmed its 2003 earnings view despite sluggish sales but said its women's fashions division would again post a loss. The Marzotto-owned company, which recently posted a 30 per cent plunge in 2002 profit to $80.5 million, said it still expects its annual profit to rise 10 per cent year-on-year until 2005 although sales will be flat this year.
