GREECE: Contrasting Fortunes For Fashion Retailers
Greek womenswear producer manufacturer and retailer Ysatis on Monday posted a fall in full-year pre-tax profits to $470,000 from $550,000 in the year-ago period despite a 10 per cent climb in turnover to $7.8 million.
The firm, which operates stores in countries including Turkey, Germany, Cyprus and South Africa, said in a statement it invested around $900,000 in a new store in Istanbul and $520,000 in production equipment.
