INDIA: Consumers Baffled By Sweatshops, CSR – Survey
According to CSRWorld, a leading social accountability organisation in South Asia, public perceptions of corporate social responsibility in India lag well behind their counterparts in the US and Europe. A recent survey conducted by the organisation found that only 38 per cent of respondents could demonstrate an understanding of the term Corporate Social Responsibility, even though 68 per cent said they were familiar with it.
