Spanish clothing giant Inditex is to launch its Pull&Bear brand online in the US today (20 February) as part of its bid to sell in every country in the world by 2020.

The move means the brand is now available online in 34 countries, with the US becoming the fourth market where it operates exclusively online, alongside Denmark, Monaco and Finland.

Founded in 1991, Pull&Bear is a stablemate of Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterqüe. Parent company Inditex Group is one of the world’s largest fashion retailers, currently selling in 202 markets through its online platform or its over 7,500 stores in 96 markets.

In September of last year, chairman and CEO Pablo Isla announced that all of the group’s brands will sell online to every country in the world by 2020.

“We want to make our fashion collections available to all our customers, wherever they are in the world, even in those markets which do not currently have our bricks-and-mortar stores,” said Isla.
