Indorama Ventures says the new line, deja Care, has been tested against 17 harmful chemicals and meets international standards, including OEKO-TEX Standard 100, DIN EN 71-3, and ISO 17294-2.

Developed using more environmentally friendly chemicals during the PET polymerisation process, deja Care enables brands to produce certified skin-sensitive garments such as maternity wear, underwear, infant clothing, and school uniforms.

The Bangkok-based sustainable chemical company states that the fibres are manufactured in-house across its Asian facilities, enabling full control and traceability throughout the production process. The company notes that Deja Care fibres have already proven effective in hygiene products, such as baby wipes and diapers, and now offer apparel brands a route to “responsible fashion”.

Fabric makers can also benefit from cleaner wastewater and reduced sludge disposal during production, supporting more sustainable manufacturing practices across the textile supply chain.

According to Indorama Ventures, the new launch reflects growing demand among consumers and brands for certified, environmentally responsible materials that balance performance with safety.
