Sen, who has been with Puma since 2016, will oversee the global sourcing and development of footwear, apparel, and accessories, as well as operations and sustainability. He will report directly to Puma chief product officer Maria Valdes and be based in Xiamen, China. Before this appointment, Sen served as vice president of sourcing and development footwear at Puma.

Current chief sourcing officer Descours has been with Puma for over 12 years and made the decision to end her services as a board member of the company and has instead chosen to support Puma as an external advisor in the field of sustainability.

Freundt also acknowledged Descours’ role in “successfully establishing and executing Puma’s sustainability strategy.”

With Descours’ departure at the end of 2024, Puma’s management board will be reduced from four to three members, consisting of Freundt as CEO, Hubert Hinterseher as chief financial officer, and Valdes as chief product officer.
